Windows 8 is an awesome OS way better than Windows 7(in my opinion).
I noticed that some people get slow internet speed on Windows 8 especially when downloading torrents so here is a trick to fix that problem. I know alot of you guys know this trick but there are people still there who don't know it.
Now I want you to download a software called TCP optimizer from here. After downloading, perform the following steps.
After doing all the steps mentioned above, you should see a difference in your internet speed on Windows 8.
Note: These steps are also valid for Windows 7, Vista and XP but best results re seen on Windows 8.

- Go to RUN
- Type gpedit.msc
- A window will appear
- Go to Computer configuration> Administrative Templates
- Go to Networks
- Go to Qos packet scheduler
- Go to limit reservable bandwidth
- Enter the value "0"
- Save
Now I want you to download a software called TCP optimizer from here. After downloading, perform the following steps.
- Run the program in administrative mode.
- Now select your internet speed which ou should get with the help of slider.
- Now select optimal settings options in below left of the program screen.
- Apply and reboot.
After doing all the steps mentioned above, you should see a difference in your internet speed on Windows 8.
